About

This little weblog serves two purposes: First, I want to have a live environment to test the new version of Pivot, as it progresses. Secondly, I needed a place to log about stuff i don't want to bother the readers of my regular weblog with, like news about PHP, browsers, CSS, weblog-tools, webdesign and the like.

+ 0 - 2 | § Butt-Skirts

Couture is now carrying the real deal of the real fake Japanese Butt-Skirts. Thanks to the Museum of Hoaxes. Note they also pointed me to the subtle EatBabies.com.

+ 2 - 0 | § Landover Baptist | Where the Worthwhile Worship. Unsaved Unwelcome.

www.landoverbaptist.org -- If you ever wanted a What would Jesus Do Thong or perhaps a Love me or Burn! Valentine's Day card; you must visit www.landoverbaptist.org Forward to all the fanat... er; faithful. (more)

+ 1 - 0 | § SecurityFocus article: A Visit from the FBI

The folks at SecurityFocus had A Visit from the FBI and are kind enough to write about it. Brief. So brief, that if I hadn't already started to post this entry before reading the article, I wouldn't have linked to it. Don't even read it.

+ 0 - 1 | § The Cost of War

I have added a coutner on the left hand side. Informational purposes only; and it only calculates monetary cost. It is a rather large sum; especially when David Kay resigns after admitting that Saddam may not have had any Weapons of Mass Destruction. "I don't think they exist." Biggest Mulligan ever.

+ 0 - 2 | § The future of security - Computerworld

This Computerworld article on The Future of Security is one of the scariest things I have read in a long time. Digital Pearl Harbor.

Windows will approach 100 million lines of code, and the average PC, while it may cost $99, will contain nearly 200 million lines of code. And within that code, 2 million bugs.

I guess that's just before the computers take over the world. The article has broad and Orwellian implications. Read it. While you still can.

+ 2 - 0 | § Eastlink HDTV

So I recently got a new cable box from Eastlink; they are finally offering HDTV. Read more for my experiences so far... (more)
